DEVCON was created by a team of media executives with more than 30 years of combined commitment to journalism. Our technology and procedures are built by cybersecurity experts who have created solutions for the finance industry and the US government.
Maggie has spent more than a decade as a digital leader in the publishing industry, developing products for The E.W. Scripps Company, The Los Angeles Times, American Public Media Group and Morris Communications, where she also served as the Vice President of Audience and corporate intrapreneur. She enjoys composing music with DEVCON co-founder Josh Summitt.
Josh has over 12 years experience working in cyber security including securing web and mobile applications, leading ethical hacking teams for fortune 100 companies/government, and working for Kevin Mitnick. He is also a two time presenter in the Las Vegas Black Hat Hacking Conference and has developed many open source security tools for the hacking community. Josh is also an audio nerd that likes to design and build interesting noise making devices.
Casey comes to DEVCON with a publishing career spanning nearly two decades, managing operations and creating new digital products. Her current obsessions are kombucha, tom ka soup and turning her house into a botanist’s greenhouse.
Mishunda's professional career has spanned more than a decade in ad operations, tech and management. She once jumped from a perfectly good airplane. That was enough of that.
Michael is a skilled cybersecurity tactician with a wealth of knowledge in understanding both criminal and nation state actors. He is a former FBI Special Agent that loves him some “Hello, Dolly!” (Yep, the musical.)
Christina has served at the intersection of creative and technology for nearly two decades in her work with media and marketing. Her love of Thai food once led her on a trip around the world in search of the world’s best drunken noodles.
DEVCON identified criminal activity at its source and provided court-ready-evidence that led the first ever conviction for ad fraud theft & money laundering.
This conviction resulted in a a 4 year prison sentence and payback of the stolen funds.
